Drinking water for human consumption

The price of drinking water from the public supply network has steadily increased in recent years. For high-volume users, such as in the recreational sector, agriculture, industry, or car washes, these costs can become significant. In such cases, using locally available groundwater or surface water is often a cost-conscious alternative. When properly treated, this water can meet all requirements for drinking water for human consumption.

Remon applies various purification techniques to reliably transform natural water into safe drinking water. Depending on the raw water composition, methods such as iron removal, aeration, ion exchange, membrane filtration, or ultrafiltration are used. These are combined with UV disinfection to further eliminate microorganisms. The result is drinking water that complies with all legal standards, even without connection to the public water network. For locations without a water connection—such as rural areas—this offers a practical and safe solution. Additionally, this approach contributes to significant cost reductions for sites with consistently high water consumption.
