Remon’s break tanks protect the public drinking water network from potential backflow of contaminated water. By using Remon’s break tanks, you not only meet all legal standards but also contribute positively to the environment. These tanks are ideal for managing peak demands effectively.
Our standby tank ensures a constant supply of (source) water at all times. It automatically fills with your own source water, equipped with a fixed electromagnetic float and magnetic valve. The float monitors the water level in the tank: when sufficient source water is present, it stops the power to the solenoid valve, closing off the source water supply to the standby tank.
Malfunction
In case of a malfunction in your source/water treatment system, a second float ensures automatic replenishment of the tank with mains water, indicated by a red warning light. This ensures continuous water supply. Once the issue is resolved, the system automatically switches back to your source/water treatment system.
