Holland Malt chooses Remon Water Treatment for process water purification
In the far north of Groningen, near the largest port in the Netherlands, the Ems River flows into the Wadden Sea. One of the most impressive factories in the Eemshaven is the malt house of Holland Malt.

Holland Malt contacted Remon seeking improved water quality for the feed water of their heat pumps. Because this water is significantly heated, it can lead to limescale formation and blocked pipes. To protect the piping, pumps, and process equipment, they needed demineralized water for chemical-free process water.
To produce the highest-quality process water, Remon proposed a TITAN® Compact membrane filtration system. The system has now been installed and is operating to full satisfaction.
