Remon
Oxidizers
for safe disposal of your waste water
Powerhouse of a
Purification machine
Although Remon typically develops and supplies machines that produce clean water at the front of the business process, Remon has also a machine that focuses more on waste water; The oxidizer. The Remon Oxidizer is a purification machine that is capable of much; Due to its powerful UV lamps and dosage of hydrogen peroxide, this machine can destroy virtually all compound organic molecules that it encounters, e.g., various pesticides, but also nitrogen compounds, organic compounds like formaldehyde, urea, humic acids, etc.

The Remon Oxidizer
Remon’s oxidizer was fully authorized as a purification machine for the 2018 Plant Protection Products Treatment Act by the Assessment Committee on Water Treatment Techniques Greenhouse Industry (BZG) in 2017, and is available in 3 capacities. All machines are equipped with online control and touch screen operation.

How does it work?
Remon Oxidator
The Remon Oxidator is designed to break down pesticides and operates based on continuous inline purification, using hydrogen peroxide combined with low-pressure UV (ultraviolet) radiation. This technique is relatively simple yet highly reliable.
Which model and what capacity
Do you need?
The Remon Oxidator is available in one model with three capacities: the Oxidator 500, 1000, and 1500. The number indicates the purification capacity in liters per hour. Each type is equipped with four UV lamps, resulting in a maximum capacity of 1.5 m³/h (1500 l/h). The Remon Oxidator thus meets the needs of 90% of greenhouse horticulture companies.

Prevent clogging with a
Belt filter
Because the Oxidator operates with UV light and the UV chambers are sensitive to clogging, it is advisable to filter out coarse and suspended particles as well as organic material using a belt filter. Installing a belt filter before the Oxidator improves purification quality and extends the Oxidator’s lifespan.

Even if you plan to
Recirculate
Many growers plan to switch to full recirculation of wastewater within a few years, which would mean no water discharge at all. However, there are situations where an oxidator is very useful—for example, during crop rotation when cleaning drippers and drain tanks. These substances often may not be discharged into surface water. Additionally, you no longer need to start a new crop with a portion of old drain water; you can discharge it and begin fresh with clean water.
Always have insight into your water treatment system with
Network technology
All Remon Oxidators are equipped with NT network technology, giving you real-time insight into your water treatment system. You can control and monitor the operation online—via your mobile phone or tablet—including water consumption, pressure, daily peak usage, and fault notifications.
