To address the low compensation for returned electricity and to optimize the use of a dynamic energy contract, Remon has developed the RemologiQ software. If you have a boiler, membrane filtration system, iron removal, or another Remon water treatment installation with the newer version of the NT control system, you can upgrade it with RemologiQ software.
RemologiQ is software developed by Remon that enables your water system or boiler to make optimal use of your returned electricity and the cheapest electricity periods from your dynamic energy contract. This way, you maximize the benefits from your returned electricity and can consistently use the lowest energy rates available.
This not only benefits your budget significantly but also makes choosing your own water system much more attractive. With RemologiQ, you can produce water using much cheaper electricity, improving the ROI (Return on Investment) of your water treatment system considerably.
How does
RemologiQ work
The RemologiQ software reads your electricity feed-in data via the P1 port on your meter and, in the case of a dynamic energy contract, automatically retrieves the daily energy tariffs (published each day for the following day). This data is used to determine the low and peak energy periods of your contract.
The system then selects the most favourable moments for your water treatment system or hot water supply to consume electricity. This way, your water treatment system produces the most water during the cheapest times of the day.
As a result, your water treatment system is never dependent on (too) expensive electricity again! And the best part? RemologiQ software manages all of this fully automatically—you don’t have to do anything yourself.
Who can use
RemologiQ
The RemologiQ software is compatible with all installations running newer versions of the NT control system. When you purchase a new boiler or water treatment system from Remon, it is equipped with RemologiQ as standard. If you already have a Remon installation with a touchscreen and NT system, the software can be installed on your boiler or water treatment system for a small fee.
If your Remon boiler or water treatment system does not have a touchscreen, or if you have a system from another manufacturer, you can still use RemologiQ by upgrading to a new control cabinet with the latest NT system.
In some cases, to achieve optimal performance, it is advisable to increase the water buffer to about one and a half times the daily consumption. Please contact Remon to discuss your specific situation.
