Avoid source gases in your water with
Remon's Multi filters
Since spring water always contains undesirable gases, like methane, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide, proper spring water treatment always requires aeration of the water with fresh clean atmospheric air. In this way, you remove all unwanted odours and gases, after treatment with a membrane filtration system or an ion exchanger, and you ensure that the water is also post-purified on the last traces present, also known as polishing. This is the essence of Remon’s Multifilters. In addition, these multifilters can flush themselves, making them also known as self-cleaning stripping towers. This easily removes any slime formation from the stripping tower.

The dangers of
Gas in your water
Soil water always contains naturally occurring gases. Due to the pressure underground, these gases dissolve in the groundwater. Gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), and methane (CH4) are under pressure in the water and are released once the water is pumped up. This process is similar to opening a bottle of spring water: when the pressure decreases, bubbles rise to the surface. The same happens with the water you extract from your well. It is very important to allow these gases to escape and to discharge them responsibly. If the gas remains dissolved in the water, it can cause various problems.

The benefits of aerated and
Degassed water
Properly treated well water is always degassed water. Degassing is the foundation of any good drinking water. For human consumption, degassed and aerated water is a legal requirement, and the same should apply to drinking water for livestock. Additionally, degassed and aerated water ensures much better absorption compared to water treated with methods that do not aerate or degas. These alternative techniques often also require softening salts, which can cause annual costs to increase significantly.

R710 Multifilter
The R710 multifilter is ideal for smaller water purifiers up to approx. 4 m3/h. The model is available in a normal height of about 210 cm but can also be designed in a height of 260 cm. It is small enough to fit through a door and is designed to supplement smaller spring water treatment systems to perfectly purified water. The R710 multifilter may or may not have its own control and can be controlled by, for example, TITAN© compact

REM4000 Multifilter
This dynamic multifilter REM4000 is ‘the system to use’ when it comes to larger systems. Whether it’s a large ion exchanger or a TITAN Magnus, the REM4000 multifilter is capable to treat and degas large amounts of water. The REM4000 can be placed in parallel and for that reason the dynamic control has been developed by Remon. In this way, multiple REM4000 multifilters can be combined and the amount of water to be purified is basically infinite. So, continuity is guaranteed, intermediate buffers for backwashing filters are no longer required, and water can be produced 24/7.

Always a reliable
Spring water supply
If source gases in water are not removed properly, bacterial colonies can grow within the downstream tubing, with all the consequences that this entails. This can clog the pipe, allow bacteria to form toxins that cause diseases, and affect the freshness of the water. A multi filter prevents this and is a must for a good and reliable private spring water supply.
Because the filters can be filled with sand or our special filter material based on marble granulate, the multifilters can also be used to add or not add lime to the water.

Patented rinsing system
REMOTECTOR®
All Remon deironing systems are equipped with Remotector®. Remotector® is an integrated sensor that accurately detects when the filter bed is saturated. The main advantage is that Remon systems never rinse too often, preventing unnecessary energy and water use. Many deironing units on the market are preset to rinse at fixed intervals—or worse, based on volume. This is difficult to calculate precisely, causing these systems to rinse more frequently than a model with Remotector®.
Only Remon is licensed to use the uniquely patented Remotector® technology. This means your system rinses fully automatically, only when needed—not at preset times or volumes like other suppliers’ systems.
