Remon installs fully approved drinking water system at Camping Ommerland
In the wooded surroundings of Ommen lies Camping Ommerland, a 5-star camping site offering spacious pitches, bungalows, chalets, glamping lodges, and modern amenities. Guests enjoy swimming pools with slides, a climbing forest, a pony stable, and numerous outdoor activities. Since no municipal water connection was installed at the site, the camping relies entirely on groundwater.
To supply tens of thousands of guests annually with sufficient drinking, shower, and recreational water, a serious water treatment system was required. Remon provided a tailored solution.
Using a flow system with six Rem4000 XXL deferrizationunits, no less than 42 m³ of water per hour is treated. Due to the hardness of the source water, a Duplex high-flow ion exchanger follows the flow system, after which the water passes through a powerful UV system. The treated water meets all IL&T measurement protocols and is officially approved as drinking water for human consumption. An industrial booster system then delivers the water at sufficient pressure to all guests.
This installation demonstrates Remon’s ability to produce large-scale drinking water. When municipal water is unavailable or insufficient, Remon offers a fully approved and reliable alternative.
Remon wishes Camping Ommerland and its guests much enjoyment with their groundwater-supplied drinking water.
